Ask the people who would buy your next product

This site helps small manufacturers decide what to make next. Publish a question for our users, for example which of three lens designs they would buy, and we show you how many people chose each option, how many of them say they would buy it and the prices they named. Your first question is free. You can also advertise to people who are looking for products nobody makes yet, and see below which products people already ask for. You receive aggregated answers only, never names or contacts. The numbers show stated interest, not orders, so once a design wins, a Kickstarter campaign is the natural way to collect real pre-orders.

Ask our users

Ask potential buyers which product you should make next. Your question stays on the main page for 30 days under your company name. The first question from each company is free; further questions are paid.

Advertise

Show your product to people who are looking for something that is not on the market yet. Every ad is clearly labelled as sponsored. Advertising is paid; contact us for prices.

Demand data

Access to all aggregated product requests in your categories is being prepared. Tell us which categories matter to you and we will contact you first. Access to the database is paid; contact us for prices.

Product demand signals

One leading product opportunity per category, ranked by anonymous browser interest and stated purchase intent. This preview contains product specifications and aggregate signals, not user descriptions or conversations.

Research hypotheses from editorial ratings

These are temporary research examples, not products for sale. The cards are kept separate from user-submitted demand signals, and each accepted user submission removes one starter card from display. They are based on aggregate editorial ratings, not on customer demand or verified product defects. Source categories are kept separate. Similarity groups are automated name/category matches, not proof that products or user needs are the same.

About

Nobody makes it. Somebody will. That is the idea of this site: a place where people describe concrete products they want but cannot buy anywhere, and where small manufacturers ask potential buyers what to make next. People can write in any language; matching requests are merged so that makers see how many people need the same thing and at what price.

Founder

The site was started by Egor Ukraintsev, a physicist and researcher based in Prague, Czech Republic. The idea came from his own search for parts that nobody sells, such as a front chainring with 74 to 80 teeth and a high-capacity e-bike battery that in the end had to be ordered as a custom pack from a manufacturer. He builds and runs the site himself.

Who you are dealing with

At the moment the site is a personal project and not yet a registered company. It does not sell anything yet: the first question from each company is free, and nothing else is offered for money. Before the first paid service, this section will be updated with the business details required by law, including the legal form, identification number (IČO) and registered address.

Data

Companies never receive names, email addresses or other contact details of the people who post or answer. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy. You can reach the founder at ukraiego@fel.cvut.cz or through the contact form.

Privacy policy

Last updated 5 October 2026. This policy will be reviewed before the first paid service.

Who is responsible

The controller of personal data on this site is Egor Ukraintsev, Prague, Czech Republic, who runs nobodymakesit.com as a personal project. Contact: ukraiego@fel.cvut.cz or the contact form on this site.

What we collect and why

When you post a request we store its title, description, category, any file you attach and the language you wrote in, so that we can show the request and turn it into an English product card. When you click "I want this too", answer a company question or state a price, we store your choice together with a random identifier kept in a cookie, only in hashed form, so that each browser is counted once. If you write your own answer to a company question, its text is passed to that company without your name or any identifier. If you create an account we store your email address and a salted hash of your password. Forum posts are public: we store and show the name you enter and your message, and keep a hashed browser identifier to limit spam. Messages sent through the contact form and requests sent by companies (name, company, email, website and the question) are stored so that we can reply and publish approved questions.

We process this data to provide the service you use (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the site, preventing duplicate votes and showing aggregated statistics (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who receives data

Companies receive only aggregated results: counts, stated prices and the texts of own answers, never names, email addresses, cookies or other identifiers. We do not sell personal data. The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes this data on our behalf under its data processing terms. The database and stored files (attachments and logos) are kept in the European Union. The AI models that check, translate and structure posts and draw the logos may run on Cloudflare servers outside the European Union.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses one functional cookie that counts each browser's answers once and, if you sign in, a session cookie. Your browser's local storage remembers the chosen language and cached translations. There are no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.

How long we keep data

Requests, answers and account data are kept for as long as the service runs or until you ask us to delete them. Messages and company requests are kept as long as needed to handle them.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to ukraiego@fel.cvut.cz or use the contact form.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů.

Don't reinvent the wheel. Find the next one people need.

Nobody makes it. Somebody will.

Things people want to buy or make that nobody sells yet. Nobody makes them until enough people ask. No analog fits? Tell us exactly what you need. Makers and buyers finally meet: makers build what buyers already want.

Post what you need that nobody sells

Your text is processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to create an English product listing and extract stated specifications. Your original text is kept; companies see the structured product listing and aggregate demand signals, not your original description.

Research examples: 1,100 starter cards from editorial product ratings

These are temporary research examples, not products for sale or verified customer demand. Each accepted user submission removes one starter example from display.
